Spending half of her time in her own imagination, Jan Abel has dreamed of being a storyteller for as long as she can remember. After a push from her creative writing professor in the second half of college, Jan completed her first full-length novel, and metaphorically threw down the gauntlet, stating she would have her fantastical world published by the time she walks across the stage to receive her Bachelor’s Degree. While that may have not been the most realistic goal, it was the push needed to complete that first manuscript. When not furiously typing away, Jan can be found analyzing superhero movies, working in a radio booth, or attempting to perfect a video game save.
